You know how at Thanksgiving Dinner you sit around the table with your family and each person shares what they are thankful for from the past year? Well, as you many of you know, today is Tuesday, but I’d like to take this time to share some of the things I’m thankful for.
I wish it was Thursday,…

My brother and I were talking on the phone a couple days ago. The conversation came to a pause as I listened to Michael Jackson’s Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ in his background.
My brother: So…you got a job yet.
Me: Nope.
Bro: Yea, me neither.
Me: Looks like we’re in the same boat.
Bro: Nah, I’m in a yacht. You’re in a boat.
AND HE WAS SO SERIOUS! Only after I fell out of my chair cracking up did I hear a little chuckle escape from him. I freaking love that boy; he is my heart. :)
P.S. I’m sure this would much funnier to everyone if I had the little animated gifs to go along with it. Maybe I’ll add those later. Oh and that picture is over five years old, but nothing has changed! FamILY ♥

“Choices are the hinges of destiny. It is the big choices we make that set our direction. It is the smallest choices we make that get us to the destination. The end result of our lives here on earth will always be the sum total of the choices we made while we were here.”
I’m not easily offended by any means. I don’t expect everyone to believe what I believe. Our beliefs are merely choices we make about what makes sense to us and what gives our life purpose. They are justifications for our actions, words and thoughts. Our beliefs are just that: Whatever we choose to believe undoubtedly within our hearts.
My belief in God and the story of Jesus and deciding to become saved by confessing my belief in Him is all choice I made because I believe it to be true. If what you believe makes sense to you, why not believe it.
To be honest, I think it’s funny how people don’t understand how much of a choice everything in life is. As I choose to believe, so do others (as yourself) choose to believe either the same or otherwise. Or just as atheists choose to believe only whatever scientific evidence proves.
Each belief is imperfect and has it’s flaws. We believe what we believe, but none of us have any proof for ourselves; we just believe what we choose to believe based on a choice we made by choosing to believe that something or someone (supernatural entities or respected individuals) has great authority or credibility. We choose to believe whatever makes sense to us.
At the end of the day, I really don’t like to debate, so I don’t. Every individual can voice their beliefs and everyone else can either agree or agree to disagree. That way, it’s a win-win situation and there is no love lost.
I believe that choice is one of the greatest gifts God gave us and we have free reign to choose as we please. Which choices are better than others is debatable, but I’m not interested in debating as I stated before. I believe in love and happiness. I love to love, I love to be happy, I love positivity, I love optimism and I love knowing that I’m in control of my thoughts, actions, words, beliefs, future, destiny and so forth.
“Those who don’t see the light are blind to the truth…no matter how good our intentions may be.” So, “believe what you believe” is the best approach to it all and I seriously love everyone just the same, regardless of differences in our choices (beliefs). As long as people believe in (being, showing, giving, creating) Love, that is all that matters to me. This my friends, is the beauty of life! :)
My Mantra: “Simple secrets to an abundant life: Smile, LOVE, remain joyful, maintain peace, respect others, be obedient, control your thoughts & claim your prosperity.”
